I’m really excited about this new addition to the PADI Advanced Open Water Course.
I’m finding that more “new” divers are keen to learn rescue skills.
Some feel uneasy that up until now, they have had to rely on other more experienced divers to look after them. They now feel that they would like to “pay back” that responsibility.
These divers that are keen to learn rescue skills on their AOW course could be encouraged to further their skills and become support divers and continue their education to professional levels.

The Rescue Adventure Dive consists of two self-rescue skills:
Cramp release and Alternate air source use.

You have a lot of options!
The Student can independently study the PADI Rescue Diver eLearning OR the PADI Rescue diver manual.
OR the Instructor can use the Rescue Diver Course Lesson Guide Presentation Notes to deliver the knowledge
